Everything is Nice for Popcaan
NORWEGIAN producer Matoma puts a fresh spin on Popcaan’s Feeling Right (Everything is Nice) which is done with American hip hop star Wale.
Matoma spoke about the inspiration for remixing Feeling Right (Everything is Nice) on SoundCloud.
“When I created the track, I wanted to bring Jamaican vibes together with rap vibes. This song is all about meeting challenges in life, but if you are surrounded with good energy from your loved ones, everything is nice,” he said.
The song was released last week.
Everything is Nice was officially released last year and is from Popcaan’s debut album, Where We Come From.
Matoma, whose real name is Tom Stræte Lagergren, is a leading figure in the genre known as Tropical House.
This year, he had a big European hit with Old Thing Back.
Originally done as Want That Old Thing Back by rap icon The Notorious BIG, Matoma’s version features rapper Ja Rule and New Edition singer Ralph Tresvant.
