Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton made subtle fashion statements at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service on Monday.

Markle honored the late monarch by wearing a pair of pearl-and-diamond drop earrings that the Queen had given her in 2018.

The Queen gifted the jewelry to Meghan in honor of their first solo outing together, when they traveled to Cheshire about a month after Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

The earrings were an accessory to her somber black cape dress by Stella McCartney, which the former actress further accessorized with a large black hat and pointed shoes. Meghan did not wear a veil like Queen Consort Camilla and Kate Middleton.

Meghan also wore the same pearl-and-diamond drop earrings to a London service last week, the day the Queen’s casket was brought from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.

Meanwhile, Kate attended the service in a double-breasted coat dress and a black hat with netting. Paying homage to the Queen, Middleton included Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings and a Japanese pearl choker necklace. The four-tiered pearl chain with a large stone in the middle was reportedly one of the Queen’s favorites.

Meghan and Kate were even seen together briefly at the funeral, despite a royal rift between their families. They arrived together, with Kate’s children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

For her part, Camilla wore an ankle-length coat dress, black hat with veil and the Hesse Diamond Jubilee Brooch. The stunning piece features diamonds and sapphires and was a gift to Queen Victoria from her grandchildren. It includes a heart and the number 60 in Slavonic numerals.

British Vogue’s jewelry and watch director Rachel Garrahan, explained, “The Queen was famous for speaking through her brooches and now the Queen Consort takes on that mantle. Breaking with royal mourning tradition of wearing only diamonds and pearls, she made a very personal tribute to the Queen. The Hesse Diamond Jubilee Brooch was unseen for more than a century when Camilla started wearing it and is believed to have been passed down from the Queen Mother, whose jewellery she wears regularly. It is one of Camilla’s oldest pieces and its royal story links to her past and the monarchy’s future.”

Before hitting the red carpet, the “Euphoria” star gave fans a sneak peek of her look on Instagram. She wrote in the caption, “I’m on my way🖤 Emmys 2022.”

Zendaya looked Hollywood glam in the gorgeous black floor-length Valentino gown featuring a strapless neckline and matching black headband.

She completed the look with Bulgari jewelry, including a necklace in white gold with over 17 carats of diamonds, diamond ring, and a pair of diamond studs.

The actress credited Law Roach for styling her, Tony Medina for her hair and Sheika Daley for her makeup.

Zendaya made history as the youngest actress to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her role as Rue in “Euphoria” back in 2020. Now, she’s up for the same award.

Arriving at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, the 34-year-old “About Damn Time” singer hit the carpet in a billowing Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown straight off the spring/summer 2022 runway.

Lost in its midnight folds, Lizzo looked radiant with slicked-back hair, black lipstick, and silver jewelry.

Her look was show-stopping, but it didn’t stop her from nailing the night’s second performance, a mash-up of “About Damn Time” and “2 Be Loved,” which was characterized by eye-popping projections as she gave her tunes a workout in a pink bodysuit.

All of this comes amid a social media outburst from comedian Aries Spears, 47, who viciously mocked her weight on “The Art of Dialogue,” going so far as to say she “looks like the sh*t emoji.”

He later doubled down on his insults, and weathered a slew of tweets from fans defending Lizzo.

For Lizzo’s part, she hasn’t commented specifically on his remarks, instead preferring to show up and do what she does best at the MTV Video Music Awards, capturing attention with her fashion and her Billboard chart-topping hits.

However, upon winning an MTV Video Music Award Sunday night, Lizzo triumphantly said, “And now, to the bitches that got somethin’ to say about me in the press… You know what? I’m not gonna say nothin’. They be like, ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back? Why don’t you clap back?’ Because, bitch, I’m winning, ho!”

“Extra” caught up with Meech, who dished on helping Kanye impress Julia Fox back when they were dating and revealed how to spot a fake Birkin.

While Michelle helped nab a bunch of Birkins for Julia’s 32nd birthday party, she tells us, “[Kanye] gifted Julia Fox what would be considered an exotic because she got an ostrich… He was very particular about colors. He didn’t want anything bright.”

She’s also worked with Cardi B, and credits her friend, City Girls rapper JT, for influencing her career. “She might not even know this, but she was that person who pushed me to get to where I am.”

Michelle was a law student who got her start working in retail.

She explained, “It always kind of stuck with me… from department stores to then high-end luxury stores or boutiques, and I just figured out a way how to get paid for shopping.”

“I can definitely find preowned bags… there’s a huge market for that,” she said.

Meech also explained how to spot a fake Birkin, saying “the handle, the hardware and even the stamp” are the easiest ways to tell. “It’s very hard to mimic the hardware or the handles,” she said.
