Dannielynn Birkhead, 15, Dazzles at the Kentucky Derby

Dannielynn Birkhead, the 15-year-old daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith and Larry Birkhead, cut a colorful figure at the 148th Kentucky Derby Saturday!

Dannielynn dazzled in a rainbow-hued Celia B dress and Betsey Johnson shoes, a sky-blue fascinator topping off her eye-catching look.

“Betting on a great time with Dannielynn today at this year’s @kentuckyderby, then off to the @janetjackson concert!” proud papa Larry, 49, wrote.

The day before, Dannielynn had worn one of Janet’s outfits in tribute to her, and even met the pop icon!

Other musicians Dannielynn met this weekend include Richie Sambora and Taylor Dayne.

Dannielynn Birkhead Pays Fashion Tribute to Janet Jackson at Barnstable Brown Gala

Dannielynn Birkhead appeared at the annual Barnstable Brown Gala in Kentucky Friday, where she met up with Janet Jackson — honoring the pop icon by wearing the same outfit Jackson wore to the event 19 years ago!

Dannielynn’s dad Larry Birkhead proudly posted images of himself and his daughter with the late Anna Nicole Smith on their way to the event, writing, “Off to the Barnstable-Brown Gala with Dannielynn. Dannielynn is wearing Janet Jackson’s personal outfit that Janet wore to the 2003 Barnstable-Brown Gala. It was purchased as a part of Janet’s @juliens_auctionsbenefitting charity.”

Making things even more meta, Janet herself was set to attend! “Ironically, Janet is expected to attend tonight. Next up the @kentuckyderby then taking Dannielynn to her first @janetjacksonconcert.”

Sure enough, 15-year-old Dannielynn met up with Janet at the event, posing next to her style icon.

People magazine reports that Chris Barnstable-Brown, an organizer of the event, said of Dannielynn, “She is getting so tall. She’s almost as tall as her dad now.”

He also said Janet “came in and just absolutely couldn’t be any sweeter. She was so sweet and down-to-earth, and she was mingling with guests. She was talking to everybody.”

The event is a family affair for Larry and Dannielynn, who attend every year. It is also where Larry first met Anna Nicole. It raises money for the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center at the University of Kentucky.

Other big names to attend this year were Richie Sambora, Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Justin Hartley, Sam Hunt and members of New Edition.

How Alicia Keys’ Mother’s Day Plans Went a Little Sideways

Days after her ultimate tribute to New York at the Met Gala, “Extra” was with Alicia Keys.

The star dished on her Met look, her new makeup line, and how her Mother’s Day plans nearly got interrupted.

The 15-time Grammy winner was also a fashion winner at the gala in a shimmering Ralph Lauren gown with a cape that had 200,000 crystals shaped like the NYC skyline.

She told us, “It was such a beautiful, powerful, special moment to be able to represent New York City. It just felt like such a homecoming.”

Alicia hit the famed stairs with husband Swizz Beatz, who wore a tux with a Ralph Lauren leather jacket.

Keys shared, “I had an amazing time… It was really, really fun. You’re in the museum at night, which is fascinating. You’re partially scared everything’s gonna come alive. And then you also feel like this is special.”

Alicia made headlines for going makeup-free in 2016, but she brought the made-up glam at the gala, debuting her new Keys Soulcare line.

She explained, “It is called Make You, and it’s all about being who you are. Because in my journey, in my life, I felt so many times I had to be what other people wanted me to be.”

The color/skin care hybrid line is all about people defining beauty on their own terms.

Keys shared, “You guys have been with me through my journey. I realize that I was just so concerned about being perfect. I was picking up my son from school and I just had my baseball hat and my sweatpants and I didn’t have anything on my face and I was freaking out that if somebody wanted a picture, I was going to somehow be disappointing them.”

Fans certainly won’t be disappointed to hear the “Girl on Fire” singer is about to hit the road, launching a world tour in June.

She said, “I’ve missed being on tour so much. It’s been three years. We’ve been counting down the days, and it’s definitely going to be incredible.”

First, she’s ready to celebrate Mother’s Day with her husband and sons Egypt and Genesis.

“You know, my son’s basketball team put a game on Sunday,” Keys said, adding with a laugh, “I was like… ‘No, that’s not what you do.’”

She went on, “I was like… ‘Coach, he’s going to be at every game except this Sunday game when he’s showering me with his appreciation.”
