Black Gamers Launch ‘ColdHearts RP’ Citing Racism

Apparently, you can’t go anywhere in America without experiencing racism — even in the virtual world.
This was made true for Black players of Grand Theft Auto Online, a virtual roleplaying game. One player, Melody, recalls how other non-Black users were casually using the n-word in the game. And when she spoke out against this and complained, she was ignored.
This type of blatant racism is what inspired Corey Stephens and other Black players to launch ColdHearts RP, a GTA online roleplay community for Black players.
ColdHearts RP is a safe space for Black gamers to engage in and enjoy Grand Theft Auto Online.
